Rick founded Impetus Training in 1985 after a career in sales and marketing and training. He is the author of the "Team Synergy” series and creator of many unique learning solutions including the Leadership Millionaire and LeadershipInOne Concepts, Experiential Personality Profiling and Scenario Analysis. He is in demand as a speaker as well as an innovator, facilitator and coach.
Cheryl Winter - Senior Consultant
After a career in insurance and finance in HR and training, Cheryl has been with Impetus for four years and has worked her way to Senior Consultant.
She is an NLP Master Practitionerand a fully qualified and very gifted Executive Coach. Her research skills complement Rick’s creativity when they work in tandem to meet a client's unique needs with unique solutions.

Ian Gillard - Senior Consultant
Ian Gillard is a qualified Business Coach with over 35 years commercial experience working with and for major UK Blue Chip companies, Ian has spent the last 20 years operating at a senior management level, latterly as MD of one of the UK’s largest Sales Brokerage companies.
Rick, Ian and Cheryl are supported by Associate Consultants located strategically around the UK.
