The Leadership Millionaire is a PRAGMATIC Learning Concept - focussing on how a leader / manager can increase productivity in the short term - through team synergy.

Delegates learn how to fulfill “The 7 Responsibilities of the Team Leader”, of which the 7th is “Achieve a Balance between Task, Team and Individual Needs” - relating the process to the well proven principles of John Adair’s Action Centred Leadership.

The “millionaire” label isn’t a gimmick. Each delegate’s objective is to earn £1million in NET PROFIT from a series of objectively measurable leadership tasks. Appointed team leaders always have a CHOICE of resources with which to achieve their task objectives - against a tight time constraint - and they have TO PAY for the resources. Delegates learn Time, Resource, Budget and Profit management disciplines, as well as team leadership skills.

In a series of intellectually, rather than physically, challenging tasks, each delegate is guaranteed two opportunities in the leadership role. Learning is then processed by our purpose designed debrief and reflection system.

Delegates learn about themselves and about the realities of teamworking as they would apply in their own workplaces, by using Experiential Teamworking Personality Profiling throught the course. They also receive complimentary copies of the book "Experiential Teamworking Personality Profiling" to help them apply the principles with their own team. Delegates also receive the other two books in the Team Synergy series:- "Share, Care, Communicate" and "The 7 Responsibilities of the Team Leader".

Though we can challenge executives at any level, our concept has been designed for junior or middle managers and those being developed towards management. Others who benefit are people who need leadership skills even though it is not their “full time job”! Many dentists and school teachers and other professionals and small business owners have attended courses, as have Project and Account Managers.

The course is NOT "outward bound". Though the leadership tasks are predominantly outdoors, each one is "multi-function", with a choice of resources, so a leader will need to consult the team on, for example, who is able and WANTS to ride a mountain bike or crew a canoe or a raft, while other team members adopt other equally important roles. It is a challenging and enjoyable experience for people of any age and level of fitness.

To relate the course experiences to real life, we treat each individual delegate’s work situation as a “case study”, with continuous discussions on how he or she can apply lessons learned in the workplace.

We have two preferred venues for the Summer months - one "up North" in the Lake District and one "down South" in Essex. Both are owned by the Scouting movement and provide wonderful facilities for our courses, including being able to cook over an open fire in our task "Find, Cook, Eat!".

Our Lake District venue is GREAT TOWER CAMP SITE, owned by West Lancashire Scouts and overlooking Lake Windermere. Here we have our own comfortable chalet, with separate ladies and gents toilets and showers and marvellous facilities and resources for outdoor activities. Accommodation and all meals at Great Tower is £205 per delegate - for three nights.

Our Essex venue is THRIFTWOOD CAMP SITE, Brentwood, Essex, where we also use a comfortable self catering lodge. Accommodation and all meals at Thriftwood is again £205 per delegate - for three nights.

We are also delighted to organise bespoke courses (see below) at either of these venues.

The Course Fee for the 2½ day Leadership Millionaire is £750 per delegate plus vat and accommodation (see "Venues" above).

We will happily negotiate special rates for clients wishing to nominate two or more delegates across the programme of courses.

We can deliver bespoke courses wherever clients wish and content can be personalised to the needs and wishes of the client - style and "energy level" of tasks, skills and disciplines to be prioritised and issues to be debated. The ideal number for a bespoke Leadership Millionaire course is 12, with a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 18.

Our consultancy fees for bespoke Leadership Millionaire courses vary depending on the location and numbers, but start from just £3,250 for up to 12 delegates in Grasmere, excluding accommodation costs.

We can also offer in 2008 3 day courses at Great Tower, Windermere or Thriftwood, Brentwood, Essex for up to 12 delegates, for just £4,500 including accommodation and all meals.

These fees include as many research and consultation meetings as necessary to truly personalise the event to your needs and wishes.

The fees for a one day seminar are £940 for up to 12 delegates - extra delegates £70 each plus costs and expenses.
