University of Trinidad & Tobago - IIEM MSc Course

Leadership In Action

The MSc IIEM is an 11 month programme from September to July with, in the 07/08 intake, 19 participants.

The Impetus approach to Leadership Development is to focus on TEAM Leadership “in a 21st century commercial working environment”, so a programme like IIEM is an ideal opportunity for us to synchronise TEAM and LEADERSHIP development - with a team development programme in September to bring the 19 graduates together to be able to work synergistically during the 11 months; and then, in March, the “Leadership In Action” 4 day course relates the ”7 Responsibilities of the Team Leader” to the teamworking principles they have been practising - equipping them with the skills and behaviours to apply the principles in the workplace on graduation.

Cambridge and Derbyshire - Teambuilding

15 nations = ONE TEAM

Another new intake for the Cambridge MPhil Industrial Systems Manufacture and Management course - 39 delegates from 15 different countries to be welded into one team in three days! A difficult challenge, but there was definite evidence that the "twin centre" programme in Cambridge and the Peak District made a considerable contribution, And they all certainly got to know each other much better and all learned how to say "SHARE, CARE, and COMMUNICATE" in a Liverpool accent!

Trinidad - Teambuilding

Teambuilding

Following our first trip to Trinidad in March, we were delighted to be invited back in September - this time to deliver a Teambuilding event as part of the induction programme for the University's new intake for the 2007/08 IIEM course.

Teambuilding for Senior Managers

JCP Managers Teambuilding

An extremely successful two days in July at the Wordsworth Hotel in Grasmere with this JCP Senior Management Team who participated enthusiastically throughout, including baring their souls applying our experiential teamworking personality profiling!

"The event has brought out a raft of individual and team issues which would not have otherwise surfaced as quickly or as constructively." - David Peebles, District Manager

Mölnlycke Health Care July 2007

Fun in the woods

Amazingly, considering the weather nationally in July and the Lake District's reputation for being wet anyway, the 18 Mölnlycke Health Care Sales and Marketing Managers who came to Great Tower, Windermere in two groups over two consecutive weeks were extremely lucky.

Eating outside each evening and sitting round the camp fire until the small hours was the routine in both weeks.

We know they all enjoyed themselves, got to know each other and each others' roles better and bonded as a team - and we hope they all developed their leadership skills as well!

The two courses were entitled "The Million Pounds Challenge" and were bespoke versions of our Leadership Millionaire course.
